Pictures always kept histories, some of them have political histories, other have mistical histories, and some othes remains some unbelievable histories. This picture is one of that last kind that I mentioned.
This picture was taken by a Vietnamese journalist, and capture the exactly moment when the budist monk called Thich Quang Duc burn himself voluntarily with the purpose of make protest for the political abuse carry out by the political leaders from the country. It was taken during the"Vietnam" war period.
I really like this picture because of the meaning of it, how this monk sacrifice himself without any complain showing a extraordinary mind and body control, because he remain quiet, without make any noise or movement until the flames finish with him entirely. And with the only objetive of claim for the rights from his peopple and the freedom of his compatriots.

In my opinion a really remarkable picture that deserves to be shared.
